Right to withdraw consent

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.

For example, you can ask us to remove your profile from the PACT Professional Directory if you no longer wish to be listed.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before the withdrawal.

12. How to exercise your rights

If you wish to exercise any of your data protection rights, please contact us at:

info@pacttraining.co.uk

Please provide enough information for us to identify you and understand your request.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request.

We will normally respond to a valid request without undue delay and within the timeframe required by applicable data protection law.

Where consent is required, we will ask for it.

You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe option provided in the communication or by contacting us.

Please note that opting out of marketing communications will not stop essential administrative or service-related communications, such as information about an existing membership, course booking or event registration.

14. Questionnaires, feedback and testimonials

We may invite delegates, members and other professionals to provide feedback about PACT training, membership, events or other activities.

Participation in optional feedback activities will be explained at the time.

Where we wish to use an individual's identifiable comments, photograph, video, professional profile or testimonial publicly for promotional purposes, we will seek any consent that is required.

We may use anonymised or aggregated feedback for evaluation, reporting, service development and social-impact purposes where individuals cannot reasonably be identified.

15. Information relating to children and families

PACT operates in a professional field involving children and families.

IMPACT may receive information relating to children or family members in the course of training, professional discussions, evaluation or other activities.

Where such information is provided to us, professionals must ensure that they have an appropriate lawful basis and are authorised to share the information with IMPACT.

We ask professionals not to provide identifiable information about children or families unless it is genuinely necessary for the purpose and appropriate safeguards are in place.

Where information relating to children or families is received, we will handle it in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

16. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against:

  • unauthorised access;
  • accidental loss;
  • misuse;
  • alteration;
  • disclosure; and
  • destruction.

Access to personal information is limited to people and service providers who need it for legitimate purposes.

However, no online system or method of transmitting information can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Where required, we will ask for consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device.

Further information about cookies and how you can manage your preferences will be provided through our website's cookie settings or cookie information.

18. Automated decision-making and profiling

We do not currently make decisions about individuals based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
